Barcelona

Let's look at the options. Do you care where you want to spend the last days of freedom.? If you don't, go to Blackpool. However if you want to spend it in the most exciting city in Europe then come to Barcelona for your stag or hen party and have the time of your life.

Barcelona Attractions

Barcelona really does have something for every stag and hen party. Here are just a few of the attractions of the Barcelona experience: great architecture, museums, gorgeous people, sangria, hot sun, cheap booze, sandy beaches, all night drinking, trendy bars, nightclubs for all tastes, Estrella beer, more cheap booze, big measures, tasty tapas.....Oh yeah, did we mention the cheap alcohol?

Barcelona Culture

For those who care Barcelona is a city steeped in culture, it is the city of Gaudí and his Sagrada Familia cathedral, probably the most eccentric architect to be let loose with a drawing board. It's home to "Las Ramblas" one of the most famous boulevards in the world.

If museums are your thing then you'll enjoy the diversity and extent of what Barcelona has to offer.

Barcelona FC - The Nou Camp

If however, like us, you prefer something a little more highbrow than culture and mind-bending buildings then there is of course the highly recommended *Camp Nou*, cunningly known in English as the *Nou Camp*. This is of course home to the mighty, not -quite- all conquering FC Barcelona. Despite losing the Spanish title last year as well as their Champions League they still have one of the strongest sides in the world. Any side that contains Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o, Deco as well as new signing Thierry Henry has to be taken seriously.

Barcelona Beaches

The locals are also very proud of their sandy beaches. This is no surprise given the rather generous helpings of sun that the region receives and the fact that everyone is openly encouraged to drink beer and sunbathe topless. As you can imagine, we fully recommend immersing oneself totally in this local custom, put your sunglasses on and go for a stroll along the beach, the view is fantastic.

Barcelona Cuisine

The culinary delights of Spain are legendary and Barcelona is no exception. If food and fine wine are your thing then you've come to the right place. Remember restaurant prices are a fraction of English ones so expect to eat out a lot. Tapas can be fun but if your looking for a siesta then try a freshly made Paella with a couple of bottles of local plonk - this normally works. For the less adventurous there are plenty of fast food joints selling hamburger flavoured food.

We are also happy to recommend our own personal favourites and make the necessary reservations for you. We don't charge for this service, in fact we try and make sure that the restaurant in question includes a little apertiser for you on the house!

Getting Around

Barcelona is an easy city to move around either by foot, underground, which is cheap and efficient when compared to London, or bus.

Taxis are also and with 4 people sharing a trip across town doesn't break the bank. If it's 4 in the morning however, and you desperately want to go and get some sleep you might find it more difficult.

Barcelona Crime

There is a problem with petty crime in some areas of Barcelona and an unsuspecting tourist should be aware that at the bottom of the Rambla and off in the Barrio Chino, especially late at night, are not areas where you want to flaunt your money. We advise all groups to keep valuables in the hotel safes and only take out the money you are going to spend. Don't carry your passport unless we specifically ask you to. (indoor karting)
